Mom's Birthday

Despite of what happened this weekend, we celebrated my Mom's Birthday.  This celebration is something I looked forward to this September.  Though she doesn't really want to celebrate her own birthday, this moments make us closer together.  The following photos are taken from Gerry's Grill.  Foods are great!!!  If there's someone who really enjoyed the foods that night, that would be me!!! Love to eat!!!

Detective Conan Movie 13: The Raven Chaser

I've seen the last 12 movies of Detective Conan, and I'm very ecstatic to see this one. This movie was released sometime in April 2009 and the English subbed will be shown this October or November.

Summary: A new member from the Black Organization that shrunk Shinichi's body manages to find out about Shinichi's transformation into Conan. This discovery starts to put those around him in danger as Gin and the other Black Organization members starts to take action by eliminating Shinichi and his friends. - AnimeCrazy.net

Inuyasha: The Final Act (TV)

The television channel Animax has announced that it will premiere the 26-episode Inuyasha: The Final Act anime series across Asia on October 10 — one week after the Japanese premiere on October 3. Southeast Asia, the Philippines, and South Asia will premiere the anime on that day at 8:00 p.m., while WIB will start the anime at 7:00 p.m. Hong Kong will run the series at 7:30 p.m., and Taiwan will debut it at 11:30 p.m.

Inuyasha: The Final Act continous beyond where the first anime series ended and adapts the story from the final 21 compiled book volumes of Rumiko Takahashi's original manga. (Takahashi had ended the manga in the Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in June of 2008.) The original staff and cast will reunite for the new anime adaptation, and the musical acts Do as Infinity and AAA will perform the "Kimi ga Inai Mirai" ("A Future Without You") opening theme song and the "With you" ending theme song, respectively. The North American distributor Viz Media announced at Comic-Con International in July that it acquired the rights to Inuyasha: The Final Act.

Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!

Dahil umulan ng pizza nung nakaraang title defense, gusto ko lang i-share ang sariling recipe ko ng pizzeto.  I called this recipe my own 'cause this pizza will not be complete without my favorite patty =)

Ingredients

Pizza Dough (Small or Large) - mas marami akong nagagawang pizza pag maliliit ang dough ^^







Del Monte Quick 'n Easy Pizza Sauce - I like it's taste, that's why I prefer to use it than the others ^^



        





Magnolia Quickmelt Cheese - may kamahalan 'tong keso pero ito kasi ang nagdadala sa lasa ng pizza ^^ kaya mas ok gamitin ang quickmelt ^^

Burger Patty and Ham







Procedure

Spread the pizza sauce evenly to the dough using a table spoon.  Then, top the sauce with sliced hams and mushrooms.  In some spaces between the ham and mushroom, put some burger patty to cover the pizza sauce.  Now, sprinkle the grated cheese all over the dough.  The amount of ingredients to be placed on the top of the dough depends on you.  Lastly, bake your pizza in a toaster for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese melts.  Now, enjoy your pizza with a hot sauce! ^^

Kanye West disrespects Taylor Swift

Kanye once again made himself the center of f*** and s*** words after grabbing Taylor Swift's moment while giving her acceptance speech for winning the Best Female Video Award in the recent MTV Video Music Awards.

Poor Taylor, left stunned behind this drunk id**t while saying that Beyonce's video should have won the award.

When I first saw Taylor in her video Love Story, I'm starting to admire her. Then I learned that Taylor also wrote some songs from her album. This white chick got a lot of talents, that's why she deserves some respect.

F*** you Kanye! Go to he**! ^^ hehehe

MYX Hitchart (SEP13-19)

The new Number One song for the week is Hale's Bahay Kubo.  Hale is consistent at the top three for this past few weeks before rising at the top, dominating the MYX Hitchart and Pinoy MYX Countdown.  Meanwhile, Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me still holds the crown of the MYX International Top 20 as she stays at the Number One spot for five consecutive weeks.

Famealy Day on September 28

Everyday, despite of busy work schedule, I make it a point to have dinner with my parents. Dinner is the only time of the day we get together in our table. And while having dinner, we talk about the things that happened during the day.

On September 28, Lucky Me and Filipino families, will celebrate the Famealy Day. This will encourage families or rather parents to share one table with their children. So on September 28, I'll be coming home at the earliest possible time.

My family will also celebrate my Mom's birthday ^^

My Wireless Broadband is very Terrible!!

This past few days, while the rain is pouring Metro Manila and some part of the country, I experienced the worst of my broadband.  It's understandable that because of heavy rain and clouds, the broadband signal is congested.  But today the sun already shown up and I'm still having a lot of trouble with my internet connection.

I relocated my antenna many times but I still receiving very slow connection.  I called their so called "24 hour call-in service", a computer answered me that they are having problems in some areas and a network restoration is currently being done.  So I expected the problem to be solved within 24 hours.

Time had passed and still my bandwidth can't even open the facebook website.  I've done a ping test and a traceroute, the result shows the problem is NOT within my facility nor my network.  I tried using the broadband router with my laptop, but still no good.  I called again and skipped the computer's explanation of the problem cause I want to talk to a technical representative but nobody picked up my call.

If only a DSL facility is available in our area, I wouldn't waste my P1,300 monthly service fee for a very weak service.  While I'm writing this post, I'm hoping the connection will not be cut-off again so I can post this without hassle.

i have just discovered not a long time ago that wired connection is much faster that wireless in terms of internet connection.

like smartbro,you know the big antenna thing that is placed on the roof of your house?? sun broadband does the same job.. though of course there would be times that the connection would come slow... just like any other internet connection...

but over all.. i could have enough satisfaction with Sun Wireless Broadband.

Safari

Hi! Bago ang lahat.  Ako nga pala si EJ na lang.  Sa pagba-blog kong ito, ayoko na sanang mag English kasi alam ko na ang lahat sa atin ay mas komportableng basahin ang isang "review" (kuntawagin) kapag ito ay nasa wikang Filipino haha!

But then i know that there would be some people who would visit this site from the other countries, so then I've decided to make an English review since I have friends who are not Filipinos.

The title of my post is Safari. Bet you thought it was Safari in Africa didn't you?  The picture that you see at the top of my blog is my desktop on my pc.  As you can see at the left side of my desktop is a Safari Browser with my Facebook account.  How many of you are using SAFARI browser?  What I like about this Safari is that you feel the comfortableness when browsing.  Well I don't know to others but me, i find it simple yet unique and it's kinda fast a little when you're browsing.  And for me the color is a perfect match for Google as homepage.

Movie Review: Final Destination 4

 

Me and my buddies watched Final Destination 4 in MOA.  It's my first time to watch at the Center Stage.  This fourth movie of FD never failed to puzzle the viewers on how the characters will face death.  Too bad I missed the first part, I wasn't able to see the race car tragedy where the main character escaped death because of his premonition.  

This time, some of the scenes are highly-computerized.  I guess the reason is for the 3D viewers to experience high quality entertainment.  Originally, this movie was titled Final Destination 3D.  The story is not connected to first FD movies but the plot is almost the same as the third one.

If you are a fan of FD movies you'll definitely like it.  If you're not, maybe you'll feel you wasted an almost hundred and fifty pesos. 

MYX Hitchart (SEP6-12)

Sarah G. is now dominating the MYX Hitchart and Pinoy MYX Countdown as she grabbed the top spot from Taylor Swift. While Hale drops down to number three from last week's second place.

Meanwhile the Jonas Brothers and 2NE1 is quietly fast rising, making their way to the top ten.

Busabos in Ilocos

From Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Tour

Masayang nakakapagod ang tour na ginawa namin sa Ilocos.  Pero yung pagod, dito ko na naramdaman paguwi hehehe

First stop, San Roque Power Corporation (tama ba?) sa Pangasinan.  Hydroelectric Company sila. (Tama ba ulit?)  Di ko nga namalayan na nandun na kami nung kaumagahan ng September 1.  Yung lugar na yun dati sa mga pelikula ko lang nakikita pero napakaganda talaga sa personal.

Second stop, sa Buaung naman kami nagpunta.  Sa La Union naman to.  Medyo may kalumaan na yung planta pero mahalaga yung experience namin na nakarating kami sa isang Diesel Power Plant.

Third stop, sa Corrimao Ilocos Norte. Dito na kami nagpalipas ng gabi.  Medyo nakakahinayang lang kasi di kami nakapagswimming sa dagat.  Gabi na kasi kami dumating at kailangan maaga gumising kinabukasan.  Pero natulog na kami ng mga 3am na.  First time ko uminom ng The Bar pero mukhang mapapadalas na :)

Fourth stop, Bangui Ilocos Norte.  Pinuntahan naman namin dito ang kauna-unahang wind power plant sa Southeast Asia ang North Wind Power Project.  Dito yung may malalaking wind turbine na siyang nagggenerate ng kuryente.  Yung may malalaking elesi :D sa tv ko lang din nakita dati pero ngayon nahawakan ko pa.  (yung poste ng elesi :D)

Fifth stop, Vigan Ilocos Sur. Pangarap kong mapuntahan ang Vigan.  Eto nga't halos pumalakpak tenga ko pagdating namin dun.  Sayang nga lang gahol na kami sa oras.  Binigyan lang kami ng isang oras para ikutan ang buong Vigan (tama ba yun?) ayz!!! kaasar nga eh!! per ganun talaga kesa naman maiwanan ng bus.  Pero enjoy pa rin :)
